As a non-profit endeavor, CSFF was established to create a platform for up and coming filmmakers. The festival showcases independent short films of all genres with a focus on supporting an emerging community of artists within the world of independent filmmaking.

The festival is hosted in New York where we find the art form of filmmaking to be at the forefront of storytelling. As New Yorker Martin Scorsese said, “Now more than ever we need to talk to each other, to listen to each other and understand how we see the world, and cinema is the best medium for doing this.”
